Nellie Yee BscPT,  Bsc Biological Science, CAFCI
Registered Physiotherapist

Nellie Yee graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2000. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2005. Since then, she has gained valuable experience in the hospital setting working with a wide variety of patients. Working in acute care in the hospital setting has given her a good understanding of patients’ needs following orthopedic surgery. Alongside foot and ankle surgeons at the St Paul’s Foot and Ankle Clinic, she educated and treated patients who had reconstructive foot & ankle surgery. Nellie also has experience supporting patients in their rehab following total hip replacements, total knee replacements, ACL reconstruction, Achilles reconstruction, tibial plateau fractures, ankle fractures and mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

In her spare time, Nellie’s life is filled with activity, friendship and family. She believes we should all make the most of what we have. She enjoys cycling, running, hiking as well as sewing and knitting. She treasures every moment with her two young children and savors opportunities to spend time outdoors with her family.

It is so easy to take physical function for granted, and perplexing when our bodies do not work well. Nellie’s understanding, collaborative and down-to-earth attitude creates a foundation for trust, relaxation and healing. She creates a positive working partnership that demystifies physical dysfunction and gives patients the help they need to get back on track. She wants to help you achieve your goals and enjoy life again.
