Alex Abundo
Registered Physiotherapist

Alex completed both his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.

Alex’s approach is use of soft-tissue release, IMS/ Functional Dry needling, joint mobilizations and therapeutic exercise.

Alex’s interest in physiotherapy grew after personally experiencing the benefits, through injuries as a competitive wrestling, martial arts and being involved in a car accident. Alex is motivated to help others experience these same benefits having treated athletes, local sports teams and events. Having also worked in the Orthopaedics, Surgery and Medicine wards in local hospitals, Alex is experienced in serving a variety of clientele: athletes (of all levels!), weekend warriors, office workers, pre/post operative surgery or joint replacement patients.

Let Alex help you on your road to recovery, in order to turn any setback into a successful comeback.
