Brian Hua graduated from his Masters of Physical Therapy at University of Sydney. Before completing his Masters, he worked as a physiotherapist assistant helping patients with exercise classes and physiotherapy directed rehab. After completing his degree, he worked in Sydney where he gained valuable experiences from working with a variety of patients; this includes, but not limited to post-operative, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
During his time in Sydney while working as a physiotherapist, Brian was also doing sports coverage for basketball and rugby games and tournaments. Once a year, Brian also participated in the City2Surf road running event assisting runners with soft-tissue massage to best prepare them for their race. When his schedule permitted, Brian also enjoyed working with office workers at events to educate about ergonomics, office space and posture.
His treatment approach includes a thorough assessment and education to help you better understand your body that encourages proactive client engagement. With an avid interest in all types of musculoskeletal and sport injuries, Brian is eager to treat Vancouver’s weekend warriors and those looking for preventative education and personalized care through exercise prescription and manual therapy. Brian is continuously finding ways to further his education to effectively help individuals recover and reach their full potential, as he plans to pursue manual therapy and dry needling courses.
Brian’s mission is to ensure you feel more confident at achieving your goals while enjoying the recovery process throughout your time together.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys reading and staying up to date about the most recent physiotherapy content. He also enjoys staying active – whether that be at the gym, playing basketball, and/or hiking. As much as he enjoys staying active, relaxing with a coffee is always nice.
