Florence Yip graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy in 2005. She is the founder of our Burnaby Physio clinic. She is certified in Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She provides acupuncture to her patients as an additional treatment option to help reduce pain and promote healing. She has provided on field care as well as sports physiotherapy to the Meraloma’s Rugby club, Capilano University Athletics program, Burnaby Men’s soccer-Orange Fury team as well as covered Canadian BMO figure skating Championships.

Florence is committed to life long learning as well as evidence based practice with continued studies through post graduate education. She is a Sports Physiotherapy Certificate Candidate and has completed her Fellow of Canadian Association of Manipulative Therapist designation. She has an extensive background in core stability training as she taught core stability training classes at City Square Physiotherapy. In her spare time she plays ice hockey, practices Yoga/Pilates, heads to the gym for a work out and runs after her very active toddler. She believes the key to good health is having a balanced life style and she wants to help you achieve it with a pain free body.
